Melbourne Compose Group is a nonprofit community organisation, dedicated to advancing the art and practice of strongly typed functional programming languages.
The group was formed through the merger of the Melbourne Scala and Melbourne Haskell users' groups and is deeply inspired by, though not officially affiliated with, the goals of The Compose Conference.
From Haskell and Scala to Nix, Agda, and Lean, our mission is to promote a world where strongly typed and functional programming thrives.
We place a strong emphasis on regular, in-person, free-to-attend events and social gatherings.
