Just joined this group I am Australian bloke living in London at the
moment but moving back to Sydney in October. I work primarily as a web
developer but have used Cocoa to create a small suite of tools for
the company I work for (www.pokelondon.com) and am of course mucking
around with the iPhone SDK.

Anyway, I am heading to WWDC in a couple of weeks and would be keen on
meeting any of you from the Melbourne group in San Francisco. I'm keen
to try and start a Sydney group when I get back (if none exist now)
and would be keen to quiz you guys (and gals? - I don't know - have to
be PC) on experiences around establishing a group.

If you're in San Fran for WWDC and are keen to catch up during the
week, drop me a line at aknott <at> mac.com

cheers!

Hi Andrew

There is a get-together of Australians and New Zealanders on the
Sunday evening before WWDC. I'll send you the details off-list. Hope
to see you there!

There were some moves to set up a Sydney group last year. Here's the
mailing list that was created then:

Cheers

Hi Andrew,

Definitely come to the Australian and New Zealand meet-up on the
Sunday, there will be quite a few of us there.

I'd be happy to talk about my experiences setting up the group and
what things I feel were most important to getting the group off the
ground.
