Guys, 

I have been chatting to my boss about the Melbourne Cocoaheads and he is interested in helping out. DiusComputing (http://www.diuscomputing.com.au/) is a consulting and contracting company working primarily in the enterprise space. 

He has offered to help out in the following way:

Beneath our office is a cafe/licensed bar. The cafe is on Little Collins St just off from Elizabeth St (less than 15 minute walk from RMIT)

Joe (my boss) has chatted to the owner of the cafe and they are willing to have the bar open from 6-9pm on a Thursday evening. 

We could use Dius's projector and there is a fantastic space for doing presentations. Also to begin with he will put some money in for finger food during the presentation. 

The prices for drinks would be less than we pay at the Bunker, and we could stay afterwords. I can't see there being any issue with our Junior members being around after the meeting while we are having drinks. I don't know if being able to drink during the presentation will help our presentation skills ;-)

Joe is happy to do this as a permanent arrangement or as to help out when RMIT aren't able to provide the library.
