City of Melbourne elections

Bike Melbourne is developing recommendations for the upcoming elections in City of Melbourne.  It's different to all other councils, with separate elections for Lord and Deputy Mayor, (2 elected), and rank-and-file councilllors (9 elected, single electorate with 10% quota) so we will be presenting separate recommendations for each of those two elections. 

Any help you can give by passing on statements, publications or articles about any of the candidates would be valuable. Particularly rank-and-file candidates whether associated with a Lord Mayor ticket or not. History shows that each high-profile LM ticket will elect one councillor, in the Greens case, usually two. These rank-and-file councillors don't get much attention but they often turn out quite differently to what their Lord Mayor candidate presented before the election. So we want to track down the #1 rank-and-file candidate on each ticket, many of whom are not even announced yet.
