Possibility of being away for 4th week of holiday

I thought I had better post this separately.

I mentioned to you at the last meeting that I was asked to go to
Canada for the IBO in the last two weeks of the winter holiday in
which we are doing our prac work. It now seems that they really
desperate for someone to go.

Would it be possible for me to go to Canada for the week of the 16th
to the 21st (one week only instead of 2). This would involve me
missing 5 working days - I would probably leave the friday night the
week before or the Saturday morning. I know this would increase the
pressure on you guys, which is why i wanted to run it by you all. If
I am needed here then I will stay.
I am more than willing to put in the hours, and the extra hours
during the first three weeks of the holidays and into the semester,
regardless of whether or not I go to Canada.

If I can get your responses as soon as possible I would be very
grateful,

I think it is fine for you to go for IBO in the last week of the holiday. We will manage the resource to make sure the work will be completed according to the plan.

I said I would keep you all posted.

I am going to be leaving for Canada on the morning of Sat 14th of
July. As a result I will miss 5 working days of the holiday/lab work
period. I will be back on the morning of tues the 24th of July.

I will do all that I can to make it up to you guys in the time outside
of this week,
