It costs $495 normally - can anyone tell me the cost with a health care

it depends on where you live, ie if you live out of melb you pay less

I live in Diamond Creek, and I know that it was about $10 cheaper than when
I lived in Noble Park - but they're both outlying suburbs.

I live in Melbourne and the fee is 476.60 and 336.60 with concession.

Im sure it depends on a number of factors.

Register the car to your mum, if shes a pension card holder, the
registration fee can be as little as $165.

yeah thast a good idea but pensioners or any other health care card holders
are only allowed one concession car rego.

so if you mum has more than one car registered the'll ask for the full
amount for the 2nd one.

i think vicroads done this because ppl had caught onto it already
damn!

gives a discount to the sons and daughters.

And of course if mum doesn't have a car she won't be needing her licence
either - so just leave the speed camera fines for that car in her name too
eh!
