Hi all,

I am sure that "unapproved" is not a word.

I have some information, and I approve it. I then decide later that
I want to reverse my approval of the data, i.e. I do not approve anymore.

Is it possible to unapprove, or should I be saying "Reverse Approval"
or "Set to Not Approved"???

According to the great sage of the english language (MS Word spellchecker)
Unapproved is a word it knows.

Hmm. Appears to that unapproved is either for things that have yet to
be approved at some future point in time, or have been declined some
test of approval, where as disapproved things have undergone some test
of approval and have failed that test.
c.f. non-approved. If you want to.

Depends whether it is current or past tense.

It follows the rules for English word-formation, so it's a word. It may be
substandard or awkward, but it certainly fits well within the boundaries of
the rules of English grammar and morphology.
