This is about to make me throw this EX2 in the trashcan and go buy a buffalo NAS drive. I this is the second WD MyCloud with the same issue - after spending H-O-U-R-S on the phone with some guy in India, a complete format and factory reset (useless) telling me to replace it - and now seeing MANY having the same problem - I need WD to engage here and provide a SOLUTION and Firmware fix for this. This is entirely their problem.

At the university where I do my master thesis we have a lab setup containing a CompactRIO 9066. The software that is on the CompactRIO is incompatible with the current version of LabView that we have licences for. Unfortunatly the passwords are lost and not the default values. We tried to factory reset the CompactRIO using this approach Restore NI Phar Lap and VxWorks RT Target to Factory Default Configuration - NI but it unfortunately resulted in the status led constantly blinking indicating that it is not a valid OS. Does anyone know how the board can be reset?

You will need to download an image that supports your version of LabVIEW, and you can have multiple base images installed. Once installed, use NI MAX to format the cRIO and install the OS and other software:

Hold the reset button down for >5 seconds. This will put the cRIO into Safe Mode (LED blinks 3 times and pauses). Safe mode is a separate kernel that has enough functionality to install and boot the run time OS.

It may also make life easier to connect a terminal to the serial port, as you can see what the cRIO is doing and access the BIOS. A serial port, cable and terminal program (e.g., PuTTY) will be needed. At the very least setup SSH connectivity.

The goal is to get to the BIOS screen so you can boot from a USB stick. You will need to press one of the more common keys to get to the BIOS screen (Del, F12, F2 etc.). The BIOS screen will be on the terminal.

Pressing F2/F10/F12/DEL on either the terminal or on a connected keyboard unfortunately does not get me to the bios. My case seems similar to this one Unable to access or format cRIO 9068 - NI Community

In such a case, you first need to convert the video to a compatible format. As of now, there are hundreds of video-converting software available on the internet. Some of them are free, whereas others require a premium account.

Well, Format Factory is a free video converter application available for Windows 8 and Windows 10. The great thing about the format factory is that it supports most popular video formats like MP4, MPG, AVI, 3GP, OGG, TIF, TGA, WMA, WMV, and more.

After running the installation file, you need to follow the on-screen instructions. During installation, make sure to uncheck the bundled programs. Next, follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation.

I have used Map Factor for off-line maps for years and it has done a good job. Ran across a post about Magic Earth offline maps and thought I would give it a try. It has a some additional features that I like. Info can be found here . You can also download it from Google play. Thought I would pass in on in case anyone is looking for Offline maps for their phone with extra options..

I have found that you can convert our POI Factory file here to a KML format. Then email them to yourself and click on the email attachment and open it up with Magic Earth and it will ask permission to transfer them to your phone. The one thing I found that I would like to have is to save routes. Maybe that will come later. But you can still do routes with waypoints and they will show up in your history for later use as long as you maintain them. Lots of extras in Magic Earth for free that you need to look in the settings to find.

I have 5 pan cam V1 cameras in 3 different geo locations. On Tuesday evening I made the mistake of upgrading all the cameras to the latest fw in one shot. Ever since, all 5 cameras are offline. I have done a factory reset countless times, rebooted my router over and over, and sent in a log. I have called Support at least 3-4 times and all I get is the suggestion to reboot my camera. Can anyone actually help?

I moved your conversation from Service Advisory - 1/17/2024 to a new topic for better visibility and community help as your issue occurred on 1/16/2024 which is before the server outage making your issue unrelated to the original topic.

Yes, that has happened to a v2 and a v1 psn of mine this week. I suspect wyze knows this and just wants them gone. Manual firmware installs not working. Has anyone RECENTLY done a successful manual firmware update on a v2 cam or a Pan V1 cam?

Alrtnatively does anyone have a copy of old pan v1 or regular v1/2 cams firmware they downlowded a couple of years ago? Would be interesting to try. I have a suspicion even old firmware versions on their website are not the same as originally.

Don't worry - it's quick and painless! Just click below, and once you're logged in we'll bring you right back here and post your question. We'll remember what you've already typed in so you won't have to do it again.

I have a samsung galaxy S2 and recently started using spotify. I set up the offline sync to the directory /mnt/sdcard/external_sd/media/spotify. After syncing up a few playlists, I can indeed listen to them offline using Spotify.

However, I would like to find these song files if possible or at least have the media scanner on Android find them so I can use a different player to listen to these songs from the offline playlists. Inside the SD drive, I can find the spotify folder with directories /android/data/com.spotify.mobile.android.ui/ and then /cache and /files. However exploring further, I cannot find any audio files.

Where are they hiding them? Thanks for your help on this difficult question.

NOTE: On Android devices, try formatting your SD card as Portable storage if you want to save data manually to it. If it is formatted as Internal storage, the OS will see it as the same pool of memory as your phone's internal storage and you won't have control over where Spotify saves downloads.

Please be aware that you need to go Online every 30 days in order to keep your downloaded files.

Hope you find this info helpful. Don't hesitate to reach out if you have questions.

So even if I get a media player on my phone that can play ogg files, it still won't be able to detect the song files from spotify because theyre hidden? So there is basically no way to get these song files. This makes it kind of annoying because it means I have to switch between media players because spotify's local library usability is frankly **bleep**.

Is it possible to find the song files on my computer if I have those same playlists synced so they can be played offline on the computer? It'll be a hassle to transfer to my phone but at least ill have them.

I have an almost identical question. I have a Samsung Galaxy Player 4.0 and I would like to use my SD card to store my offline music, however, in the current version of Spotify available from the Google Play Store, I see no "more" tab so that "more->settings" is nonsensical. Also pressing, also holding, the menu key on the device at the login screen has no effect. Finally I see no option now to clear offline files. Perhaps the tutorial snippet is in need of an update? Thanks for your help solving this issue.

AFAIK The playlists are "backed up" (saved) on your account. The data (the actual music files) are stored on your device (if you've downloaded them of course!) What you are seeing is that the link between your playlists and the actual files is lost. That happens regularly to me (and I'm not flashing differerent ROMs) - its a bug. In may case, when i "download" the playlist again, it re-establishes the link - without actually downloading the actual music files again.

Just spent half a day figuring this out. You can't find the spotify data files using androids built in features. You need to download a file manager app such as astro file manage; or mount your phone to your pc as a disk drive.

within this folder are various and subfolders called things like cache, users, storage, etc. It's hard to work out which files contain the actual music as everything is encrypted, but it doesn't matter.

you realy are an idiot , you asking how to bypass spotify, on a spotify community board, spotify is a great program, but what your trying to do is a good idea in theory, dont worry i've tryed, but dont ask those questions in spotifies own backyard.

I can't understand why are you being such a D. He did a pertinent question. As an user, I want and have the right to know, where the musics are being stored! I want to manage the files, so I can store them in the External SD Card. The files can't be invisible, the device is mine I need to be aware where they are.

Spotify automatically uses the external SD card for the cache on first time installation as long as there is more free space there then in internal storage. If the cache is currently on internal storage, and you have an external SD card with more free space and want to use that you just need to:

I have read masses of items on the web re this but failed to find a satisfactory answer. I want a way to QUICKLY combine two fairly large mp4 files - about 1.8GB each and in identical format straight off a video camera. At present I use mpeg Streamclip which is great and does the job in about a minute or so. However it looks as if it will not be made 64bit and will therefore shortly die. Using 'cat' script technique in terminal works fine with .mts files but with mp4 seems to have the (known) problem of combining the files but Quicktime etc only sees the first file due to some header issue which I (as a non expert) don't fully understand - and the solutions to that are more than a bit over my head. I know I can just add the files to Quicktime (or other software apps) and EXPORT but that is slow - for my purpose speed is important. Any ideas out there??
