Dear Murugan,

We have seen your link; I couldn’t find the BTU more than 10KW to our specification model.

British thermal unit (BTU) calculation against Kilo watt (KW) formula proves. It is accurately 9.5kw.

And to reach the minimum 10KW, at least BTU should be 34130. Unfortunately none of the models has that much cooling capacity of BTU.

I will try to convey them. direct me how to prove the BTU (10KW – 15KW).

And they are discussing about the 230 V power supply Unit , I will let you know once they confirmed requirement.

Note : Request you to please share the final version of our Bid Document.

and please find the attachment FYI.

Thanks & Regards,

Dear sasi,

I have seen the official letter and we will respond to them officially .

FYI – the Bid document never said anything about BTU/hr – it simply says BTU 10-15kw – They need to clarify to us how they interpret this specification .  We basically matched rest of specifications . If you see the Link I have send to them you will see below  for the same Model KW shows more than 10KW . BTU is a Unit normally used for both cooling & heating . But BTU is never expressed in any standard by kw . BTU is a Plain number .

On the LTO-5  drives – they must be crazy to even ask that . We can only supply what is in the price schedule .  as a favor we agreed to supply more tapes , if they don’t want it , it is up to them .

There is not redundant Power supply in 3845 – We didn’t quote for it . same Applies to rest of specifications in the 3845 .. as it is the capability of the device what they requested  – not the full functional specifications . for example tomorrow they ask us to show 2 WIC cards .

All items they want to verify compatibility they are free to buy it in the market to check the compatibility – 1811, 3845 etc. We have given as per the data sheet , there is nothing more we can do .

They have to exactly tell us what do they need on 230V Power supply – till today we don’t know what they want .

Regards

Murugan R

Subject: Air Conditioner issue -and suggestions

Dear Murugan,

Air Conditioner:

What was happened?

We suppose to supply minimum 10KW supportable air conditioner,
But we supplied BTU/hr 32400 is actually 9.496 KW ~ 9.5KW.

To check the the Power calculation please click  http://www.anver.com/document/company/Reference%20Guides/power.html

As per the product model 9.5KW is maximum BTU/hr. So that is a error in our bid / in supply.

May be, it could be the solution:

We may adjust in other items like server LTO – 5 tapes.

As per your last proposal you said "we are ready to provide LTO -4 instead of LTO -1”.

They are thinking LTO – 5 is the latest standard one, if we supply that, then it can be adjustable to the air conditioner.

Value of this solution:

If this final passive issue is fixed, then there are no commands about the passive device.

Thanks & Regards,
