But, how do I search for notes for reminders as my first search option? If I type in "reminders" (which seems intuitive to me), it's only presenting me with text based search results (not a filter as I am looking for).
Thinking about it some more I suppose EN would say that the reminders tab is the filter for reminders in whatever list is being displayed. That only comes into play if there are reminders which presumably explains why it is visible in your last screenshot but not in the first.
I do hope that Evernote is listening to this though...the reason this came up is because I had a customer simply ask me "How do I find a list of all my reminders?". I think that is a really reasonable search request. I'd like to see this search syntax feature work it's way into a more intuitive primary search option. If Evernote is going to enforce use of the search box as the source of all searches, then there should be a way to search "all notes" (vs needing to know to use the * which requires a certain level of detailed Evernote knowledge, and also isn't available as an option in the keyboard shortcuts). Alternatively (and to me very intuitive) Evernote could add the "Reminders" filter to the note list filter options and not require a primary search first. This is how I'm observing users naturally want to work/find in v10.
@Stacey If that is the main question, you can get to them through "All Notes"... then click on the reminders tab. However, I have a number of saved searches that filter for different sets of reminders... just keep in mind that with Evernote v10, you can't sort saved results by the reminder date (yet).
1. In Reminder View reminders were sorted by due date showing me all overdue reminders and these in the near future at the top of the list. This gave me good orientation in my tasks. Now there is no such possibility to sort reminders by due date. I can only sort them by creation or edit date or title. Even in all reminders search lists you cannot sort the result by due date. It makes no sense for me.
If one is a user of reminders saved searches or shortcuts are good places to store oft used searches. My preference being saved searches (all preceded by ! to sort them to the top. FWIW. As it looks in 6.25.1, similar in V10.
Unfortunately, it took a lot of testing and trial/error to figure out these saved searches for reminders... but it was all based on the Evernote help file for advanced search syntax:

I had trouble finding a reminder that was flagged for me today. Some suggestions in this thread helped, also a hardcoded search gives reminders due in a range of dates, e.g. reminderTime:20231203 -reminderTime:20231207, but I think there should be an easy option, with the chance to sort on reminder date, for those of us who use lots of undated reminders to pin our notes (yes I would like a Pin option too!).
Smartsheet can send alerts based on dates, but it doesn't seem like they can be setup to be recurring (i.e occur everyday until a task is complete). You could setup reminders for 1, 2, and 3 days after the due date, but this quickly clogs up the alerts and actions tool as each one has to be created separately. I wonder if this enhancement is coming?
We're preparing recurrence for time-based workflows so you can save even more time on repetitive steps, such as daily due date reminders and weekly status update requests. This automation enhancement will be available this spring.
Julie, I am fairly new to Smartsheets and found your post regarding a work around to send repeating reminders until due date is met. I'm unclear of how to set up following your instructions. I have added columns that will be hidden, but I'm confused on what needs to be placed in the columns. Sorry about digging up a post from 2019, but it's the only one I could find to allow set up of repeating daily reminder till done feedback. I'd appreciate any additional information if you could help. PS - unless this has been built into the system....
Reminders set for messages and files will be saved in your Later view. From the In progress tab, you can adjust the time frame for reminders, mark them as complete, or archive them.
It should pop up if you select one of the options (like upcoming reminders for example). If that doesn't work, try opening the workflow folder in terminal and running `./reminders-helper` and see if that triggers it.
Hi, I just downloaded this and configured it. It doesn't add reminders to my Reminders app with a select Create New Reminder.
How might I troubleshoot this? I jumped through all the Security hurdles.
Slackbot was outputting reminder notifications so far, but suddenly that's not the case. Instead, they appear in some "Later" channel/section - and to make things worse, the last reminders are not on top of at the bottom but somewhere in the middle.
Turn on the pack and through an action you can create events in a calendar of your choice. These events will have reminders as you have these set up by default in your Google Calendar (e.g. 30 minutes in advance before the event). Calendar pack is very limited in the free version of Coda though (only 20 actions, i.e. 20 created events, per month).

Commercial driver license (CDL) and commercial learner permit (CLP) holders can also sign up to get email and/or text reminders regarding the status of their medical certifications and medical variances.
To get registration renewal and inspection reminders, you must be the primary registrant (the first name listed on a registration, if the vehicle is registered to more than one person).
You can update your electronic reminders subscription to receive email and/or text reminders as well as paper reminders by mail for your vehicle registrations. If your vehicle registration is due to expire within the next 75 days, you will probably not receive a paper reminder.
The total number of emails you receive will depend on how many vehicles you have registered, in addition to the reminders for your driver license or non-driver ID card. For each ID card, registration, and inspection, you will receive three renewal reminders, between 75 and 90 days, 45 and 60 days, and 30 and 45 days until expiration. The first of these may seem very early, but an email failure will alert the DMV with enough time to send paper reminders instead. If you do not renew before expiration, you will receive a notification that the ID card, registration, or inspection has expired.
Works great, with the caveat that the reminders only pop up within Obsidian itself. But, the developer has an open issue to make the notification a system notification instead: bring obsidian to the front at the time of the reminder Issue #5 uphy/obsidian-reminder (github.com)
Hello, we are trying out Hubspot CRM and have begun entering Tasks, and attaching them to contacts, companies and deals. However, we have not received any notifications or reminders for any them, and several tasks have gone past due.
We are on GoogleSuite (so not Outlook) and as far as I can tell, there are no emails being filtered by our system regarding HubSpot emails (nothing showing up in spam). I do get some specific emails currently from HubSpot, from nor...@hubspot.com, which go directly to my inbox. But not task reminders currently.
Okay, this is pretty legit. I had over 500 completed reminders (all completely forgotten about) and this shortcut put them into the calendar I specified without issue, with accuracy to the time I guess I completed them , and deleted the completed reminders
I think I may tweak around with this so it only logs reminders from specific lists I have, but still delete all reminders that have been completed. then maybe automate it to run at the end of the week or something
Try installing GoodTask to see if the reminder shows up there. I have consistently found Reminders to display bad data: wrong times, not getting updates, sometimes not showing the task at all. Reminders seems to be the worst client for CloudKit reminders - but Agenda and GoodTask have worked very well for me in that regard.
One thing I do notice, is that only once did Agenda insert an agenda:// link into the reminder in Reminders. I prefer that behavior, but have no idea why it only rarely occurs. All the reminders in the list below were created the same way. Only one received the agenda:// link.
I want to set custom invoice reminders. I already know that I can do this for an individual invoice by scrolling down and clicking "edit reminders" but I want to have a set of custom reminders which automatically apply to all future invoices instead of the default set, so that I don't have to manually set these custom reminders every time. How do I do this?
I couldn't find anyone asking this particular question before. I did find this thread where the last message from the user asks the same thing, but he was never answered.
Under Templates, click on your default template being used, and then choose Edit on the bottom right corner. This will bring up your normal looking invoice. Scroll down to the Share section and add your custom reminders to your liking.
