Dear MEIits,
I am ANANTHARAM - MEI Alumni Member, running for a cause.....will you help?
On May 18th, I will join with thousands of Bangaloreans to run in the Sunfeast World 10K run.
Similar events in Mumbai and Delhi have become some of the top fundraising opportunities for charities in India....together we can make this one just as impact full for local charities. That's why I am running for a cause.
Let's show them that Bangalore Cares!
Would you make a tax-deductible pledge to help me meet my goal of raising Rs.25,000/- (Twenty Five Thousand Only) to help SUKRUPA. You can make any contribution starting from Rs100/- to any amount.
SUKRUPA works with more than 200 children from the slums in and around R.T. Nagar, Bangalore and provides a safe, caring and clean environment for the children while their parents are at work.
SUKRUPA nurture the whole child and provide:
• Daily food and nutrition.
• Academic instruction for preschoolers and in an after school program.
• Health care
• Skills training
• Opportunities to participate in sports and other recreational activities
• Cultural opportunities and awareness
• Training by professionals in dance, music and visual arts
SUKRUPA offer the following formal programs:
- SUKRUPA Home (a residential program)
- SUKRUPA School (a regular school program)
- SUKRUPA After School (a program for school dropouts)
- SUKRUPA Life Skills (a leadership program)
So Please, make out a cheque to "SUKRUPA" and send it to me so that I can do as much as possible to support this noble cause.
I will be thinking of all my supporters as I race through the streets of Bangalore!

Thank you very much for your immediate response and I have received
your cheque for Rs.5001/- . I acknoledge your nice gesture for
supporting me in running for a cause!
With your support I was able to raise Rs.9,501/- for SUKRUPA
As you know, Sponsoring a Sukrupa child for a year costs Rs.10,000/-
As I was running in the race ( I did 10km in 65minutes), I felt great
to be surrounded by so many other caring Bangaloreans...but even
better is the feeling that I was supported in my efforts by so many
friends!
