Workshop on Privacy-Aware Mobile Computing (PAMCO) 2016 (in conjunction with ACM MobiHoc 2016)

July 5, 2016, Paderborn, Germany

This workshop aims to bring together researchers from privacy, mobile computing, cloud, database, and security communities to discuss topics related to the protection of privacy, especially on mobile platforms. We invite both theoretical contributions and implementation/experimentation papers. We especially encourage submissions that discuss privacy threats from emerging applications in mobile environments - e.g., location-based services, mobile apps, wearable computing, Internet of Things (IoT), etc. 

 - We solicit papers related to the following non-exhaustive list of topics in wireless and mobile computing:
 - Foundations for privacy-aware mobile computing - e.g., key exchange, distribution and management
 - Location privacy
 - Privacy-preserving data collection
 - Privacy-preserving data aggregation and analytics
 - Privacy issues in wearable computing
 - Privacy issues in Internet of Things (IoT)
 - Privacy issues in web and cloud services
 - Privacy issues in database
 - Data analysis on traffic logs
 - Privacy issues in cellular networks, e.g., user identity management in LTE
 - Privacy issues in body-area networks
 - Emerging privacy threats from mobile apps
 - Privacy issues in near-field communication (NFC)
 - Bluetooth security and privacy
 - Secure and privacy-preserving cooperation
 - Jamming and counter measures
 - Capacity and security analysis of covert channels

Papers accepted in this workshop will be published in ACM Digital Library. Extended version of selected papers will be recommended to specials issues of academic journals, such as ACM Transactions on Internet Technology (TOIT) (Impact factor 0.769) and Personal and Ubiquitous Computing (Impact factor 1.518).

 - Camera-ready Submission: May 27, 2016
 - Conference Date: July 5, 2016
