My dearest dear ones of the Beloved,
On 13th October 2009, I received Shiva's loving email dated the previous day with the email Teacher Mercy (Marilyn) had sent out to people. When she talked to me on the phone, the workers were here. They come every day - but for money. And the Trust does not have money. If you saw the Trust account and knew the expenditure, then you would have some idea.
In order to please the workers, we have given them Divali Prasad, and they are happy. But at the same time, they expect more and more.
Now we are collecting money from the Indians, but no money from the West. We have calculated that we will need so much per year. But the collections were really much less, and the amount is not there. And what about the maintenance?
If we don't take care, then we are in difficulty. When I received Mother Mercy's phone call, I just opened my heart to her. Yes, about five hundred million dollars – I was joking. Not so about the maintenance. Nowadays, everything is costly, and the cost of everything is more and more.
Every day, I remember what Baba has said, "It will be gradual - but a time will come when the situation will be such that there will be no water to drink, and no grain to eat."
So what will people eat?
Grass. But even grass will not be there for a long time. Many will be ready to spend for water and grain. But when water is not there, grain is not there, how can people buy them?
Papers will be there, all the money will be there. There are many greedy people, and they don't care about spiritual things. They care about keeping their money safe. They may have millions and millions of dollars and rupees, but this money will be of no use to them. Money will be there, but they will not be able to buy anything because nothing will be available.
Whether they will eat paper?
This is going to happen, and that time is coming.
You just see how many natural diseases are increasing more and more. That's why it will be very, very difficult to pull on. The whole world will suffer and suffer, yet seeing this situation, some people will still earn and collect as much as possible.
It will go on worsening and worsening. That time is coming. It is already going on. This is just to show to the world what will happen when Baba's Manifestation takes place and how three-quarters of the world will be wiped out.
Then greed will become less and less and less, until there will be none. Why?
Because all those greedy ones will be in three-quarters that will be destroyed.
I remember Baba's words always, but at the same time, what should be our effort?
Thinking that, I opened my heart to my Teacher Mercy, and she also felt touched. So she wrote letters to Baba lovers in New York. I appreciate her effort - she is doing what her heart says.
Really speaking, we are all One, and in order to get rid of "we," to achieve only "I Am One," the world is going on. Ultimately, people will reach that One. So greed should not be there, and people should at least remember that we are all One! .
Anyway, our Baba lovers are really good. They have heart. I feel really very much touched at how bighearted they are. In order to collect money for the Trust, they are thinking in different ways. In the Baba world, you will see that those who are Baba lovers never forget to think about the Trust or give something out of their income to the it. Not only do they think about the Trust, but they think about the Beloved.
At the same time, what do we have to do so that the Trust may run? What if you go out of the way, and there is no money in the store?
It is definite that three-quarters will go away, and one-quarter will remain. Sixty years are still there, and you see the situation. My desperation has begun, so I am trying my best to bring the people into the one-quarter.
More and more money is required for the present. We are doing our best at Meherabad to keep it green, and those nice ones who are taking part in this or any other scheme to help the Trust will be in the one-quarter. Also those who are not Baba lovers, but who follow God wholeheartedly - their reservation will be there in the one-quarter.
The Avatar of the Age, Meher Baba, is helping to bring them into the one-quarter and to remain there. All these God-minded people automatically come in one-quarter.
At the time of Noah, such a situation arose, and then a certain part of the world was finished. Now, again, such situation will arise. Beloved Baba is creating this situation. People of the world must remain God-minded, not money-minded. To love God is the aim of life. To love Him and to find Him and to become One with Him is the aim and the goal, the Goal of Life.
And therefore, I talked with my Mother Teacher Mercy about the donations. Otherwise, I never talk about donations during my tours. But this time, the situation has arisen, and I thought that I must beg from His lovers. The lovers are those who love God, so they know their responsibility of worshipping Him.
Baba lovers are so nice and so loving; their hearts are towards Baba's service. Beloved Baba knows how you love, but please, don't go out of the way. You should not think of doing anything dishonest in order to give a donation to the Trust – this will not do. Honesty! Nor should you go beyond your means. If you don't have anything, don't give. In order to serve Him, only send only whatever is possible, whatever you can spare, and that will be a great help. Then bring it into routine [become regular] because the situation is now like this.
