Subject: [Tavern-Talk] Selection of Yohann Noble as Trustee
To: <taver...@mymeherbaba.com>

On 23rd October 2021, the Board of Trustees appointed Yohann Cyrus Noble as a trustee of the Avatar Meher Baba PPC Trust, the Avatar Meher Baba Trust (“Firstly”), the Meherazad Public Charitable Trust, and Meher Free Dispensary (Meherazad).

Born in January 1980 in Mumbai, India, Yohann became interested in spiritual subjects when he was sixteen and spent his teenage years reading many books by various great saints and others about spirituality. He first heard of Meher Baba through a friend and decided to visit Meherabad. Unaware of Amartithi, it so happened the day Yohann and his family first came to Meherabad was on 30th January 1998. While there, Yohann found himself searching for a book written by Meher Baba. The bookstall vendor suggested The Discourses and after reading it, Yohann was so impressed by Meher Baba’s words and messages that he became convinced that Baba was far above any of the “masters” and “gurus” he had heard of. He was 18 years old at the time.

In 1999, although still in college, Yohann began coming to Meherabad and Meherazad as a pilgrim as often as he could, and was deeply attracted by Baba’s mandali and their stories of life with Him. At the same time, his parents also began coming as pilgrims. Yohann became a regular visitor at the Bombay Centre, and despite his earnest wish to become a volunteer at Meherabad and Meherazad, he went on to fulfil his duty by graduating from college as a B.Com., studying in Hotel Management and then working in the hospitality and recruitment industry.

In 2010 at the age of thirty, Yohann moved to Meherabad to serve Baba through His Trust as a full-time volunteer, and has helped out in many Trust activities ever since, becoming both well-known and appreciated by trustees, residents and pilgrims alike.
