   Good Afternoon Everyone

 

     I hope each of you had a fun filled Derby week, with a little winnings on top of it. My weekend was a little different this year. I spent a day and half in Baptist Hospital and am resting at home after having surgery to remove a incisional hernia repair on my chest wall. It has been there for sometime but because of Meghan and it not bothering me I waited till now. Doing ok

     So the purpose of this email is to get your approval for a request from Gilda's Club. This is there 10th year in Louisville and they have served over 7,000 cancer patients and their families.

    They want to do a cruise on the Belle of Louisvile in September of this year. (9/24/) They are asking us to sponsor the cruise so that the cancer patients and their famiies can attend. We would be paying for the two hour cruise , security, free fountain drinks for all guests and perhaps entertainment. \I have gone over the costs and while there are some things still not certain the cap would be $5000.00 max.

    They did this once before and people really enjoyed the time. Anything to get your mind off of cancer

   Please let me know with a yes or no

   As to numbers, if there is not a full house attendance we will be able to have as many of you as possible attend but it is too early to determine that now
