Free of Cost Integration of ACS and CCTV with MOBOTIX Surveillance

Dear All,

We must ask the basic Question to understand the requirements.. let assume a project with 30 Door (20 door with In/Out reader and 10Door with only In reader) and 40 Camera.

So from the above information we can conclude the following

1. All the door are not covered with Camera ( 20 x 2 = 40Cam (one camera for In and One Camera for Out ) + 10 x1 = 10Cam for Single reader = Total Camera for Doors 50Nos)

2. From above its clear that Integration is required for a few doors and not all.. so find out which doors.

3. Find out what type of Controller are used in the ACS.. Mostly they will have RS485 system and not all controller are on TCP/IP or LAN..

4. Find out the level of integration required..

a) With a Common Command & Control GUI for both ACS & Surveillance ( ask for the price of with and Without the CC from the ACS OEM's)

b) With separate Command and Control but Event / Alarm Monitoring of the ACS

i) in the ACS GUI or

ii) in the Surveillance GUI

B) Based on the above inputs we can provide the reply..

There are many other OEM's but not popular in India.. hence if the customer is requiring the above system then THIS IS NOT A MX PROJECT but LENEL / SIEMENS PROJECT because this is centralised system, they will do the recording & playback.. 

IMP: for 5 Door integration, do you actually want to invest in such a system.. just 5 Camera out of 40..?

2. if the reply is 4(b) i : this is similar to 4(a) except that GUi cannot configure the CCTV but can record and playback.. either using their NVR or using NVR from other OEM's or even VMS from Other OEM's. Again we have many claiming that they Integrate but they will require higher system, example RBH has 4 System, only the AXIOM-V can do this.. 

MX Response : hence if the customer if requiring the above system then THIS IS NOT A MX PROJECT but LENEL / SIEMENS PROJECT/ RBH because this is centralised system, they will do the recording & playback.. 

3. if the reply is 4(b) ii: Yes this is already integrated.. we have four systems

a) Free of Cost :  if the ACS is Controller is TCP /IP or LAN (para-3 above), then they must send a IP Message to the Camera or to the MXCC and we can pop the camera on

i) MxCC Monitor and or

ii) ACS Monitor

b) Using MX EXT-IO or TCP/IP -IO with middle ware (additional Cost) :  MX -IO will be hardwired to ACS I/O  and each input in our system based on the output of ACS system will pop the camera on

i) MxCC Monitor and or

ii) ACS Monitor

c) Using VM and Event logic: FREE of Cost: VM 1 to detect people approaching the Reader and VM 2 Crossing the Door and Event-Logic Alarm when VM2 does not happen after VM1

d) Using MX-RS232-Box  (additional Cost): ACS RS232 Output is connected to RS232 Box and Data coming from the ACS is Super Impressed in the Video, ie the Card No, Type of event etc, can be seen on the Video itself.. (ofcourse their ACS system must be capable of providing this information on the RS232..)

Further features Possible: All the above integration will have

1. Event based search system in the Recorded Video 

2. Email to Security / Admin / anybody with (only if a email server is provided by the Client)

i) Static Image

ii) Video footage (mxg played on WMP and VLC, using MxPEG Decoder Plugin)

3. Operator response to Alarm with escalation, etc ( MX normal alarm handling 100 of features )

I hope you see using the advance features available as a standard feature with MxCC you can integrate any system (not necessary ACS but Fire Alarm, HVAC ete etc into the system using the B(3).. Pls feel free to email or call me if you have any project with these requirements. 

Pls make sure you ask the correct question and educate the customer on the practicality of such system and cut through the marketing which is done by OEM's of ACS systems and provide your solution which is at no additional cost to the customer
