100 % Placements in Lovely Professional University (LPU) Posted: 07 Jul 2009 01:43 AM PDT The below cited information has been provided by or based on the feedback receibed by the LPU students currntely studying in the final year. The plight of campus Placements in LPU is worth a pity. Gone are the days when one loved to join Lovely campus for its placement scenario.The moto of the lovely management is to gather masses from all over the world and throw them into the deep well of darkness.Its soon going to be Another Australia in India. They claim to have close ties with the IT Giant Infosys.But its unfortunate to say that Infosys doesn't seem to show any interst in the campus placements.and no other company seems to fall for the campus.The so-called Placement Cell is said to be existing but not found to be engaged in any kind of efforts to find jobs for their students.On asking the authorities,the reply u get is," they have their jobs and it hardly matters to them whether u get a job or not".aah yes! why they would have any issue when they are not hard up and getting their salary and enjoying lavishly.Its the responsibilty of the students here to open the eyes of the PC people that there is going to be some kind of JOBFEST in so and so college...What u will find here is that RECESSION HAS HIT ONLY LOVELY PLACEMENTS.Truly ,every Tom Dick Harry College has the companies visiting the campus for picking up the freshers,but there is drought of placemts in this Lovely campus. The rich lads and lass here remain no longer rich.These poor students are striving for everything-may it be placements,studies,course material,Fee structure,freedom or anything u can ever think of. As far as PTU students in lovely are concerned,they are undoubtedly treated as step-children.this is not a joke.They are not informed of any updates and their welfare is not being taken care of by the mgmt.fortunately a comapny is supposed to be visiting the campus soon.But evryone is of the view that whole lot from the LPU campus will be placed.and at the end of the day,who will be the sufferers? The PTU guys-who really deserve to be placed.The level u' l find in the LPU students is below par.Just to ADVERTISE that they have got all the students form their first batch placed,they will leave no stone unturned.Well,I dont wanna tallk only ill abt the mgmt,there is something good also abt it .This goes like this.. Rashmi Mittal is a very good earner. She uses very luring words to attract the students to the university. In a nutshell she has drooped down the value of education.Alma mater is one's shrine of knowlegde but this is not the case here. --- Regards, Venturous Bikers Team Drive safe and always wear a helmet !
