handle id / opaque id : what are they for ?

I use the videoroom, I don't understand what are the handle id and the opaque id, do they need to be constant .... ?

I am able to create a session without opaque id.. is it mandatory ?

By the way, when I attach to plugin, I receive a janus success with a data id, what is this id ?
