Hi there,

Everything almost fine with my gateway.
When I try the screen sharing demo i got a WebRTC error : "The request is not allowed by the user agent or the platform in the current context."
What does it mean and how can I fix it ?

Thanks

Hi,

From what it looks I believe that it's related to the secure origins policy.
You can take a look here.
It means that the getUserMedia source must be a safe origin, such as localhost or a HTTPS server. There is more info about that here: http://www.tokbox.com/blog/the-impact-of-googles-new-chrome-security-policy-on-webrtc/
Also, I used to invoke Chrome with --allow-file-access-from-files to achieve that effect, but I've read (and can't remember the source) that this is not recommended.

Chrome is ok, it's a problem I got everytime I use Firefox.

Your domain is probably not listed in the allowed_domains, read more here on how to fix that temporarily:
Doing that for good will mean asking Mozilla to add your domain to that list for future releases (*.meetecho.com is already there).

What is the procedure for Mozilla to do that? Do you know if they require any requirement?

Hi Lorenzo,

How did you get Mozilla added *.meetecho.com domain as allowed_domains? Are there requirements?

Best regards
