Hi,

I have now used my T02 (upgraded to windows 10) for a week with a Acer touch screen. But it is sad to say that I experiences a lot of lag and applications uses long time to load and are hard to close due to lag. It´s driving me crazy.

I´ve tried to make a bootable USB stick with Android, in the believes that Android is a less CPU and RAM demanding OS. But when I enter the boot order menu (pressing F7 during startup) and chooses my USB stick, it starts to load windows from its hdd again.

Has anyone tried to get Android on the T02, if so, please guide me towards a lag free world.

Thanks!

Thats the problem with the under powered atom chips.
There is a link that showed android running on it. But I dont see any img links. Since T02 runs on atom chips, I would assume in android SDK there is a atom package virtual device. If we can just get meegopad to boot it.

Yes, I was having the same problem.  It would not install using the iso image on a bootable usb stick.  It would constantly load windows even though I set the bios to boot on usb.  Instead of using netbootin, I used a program called rufus 2.3 and created a DD image instead of iso and it worked.  I now have Android running on my T02.

May I get a link to the Android img you are running? Thank you.

I try x86-4.4-r3.img from android-x86.org. It's working, but no sound, no bluetooth.
