Position Manager - QA Years of Experience 7+ years Skill Set • 7+ Years of Experience in the testing of products and business applications • Proficiency in test architecture, design, and implementation • A Good understanding of testing process and execution methodology • Understanding of N-Tier Web-based and product architectures and exposure to standard representations of requirements/design • Good understanding of application infrastructure elements (web/app servers, databases, workflow engines etc) • Experience in both functional and non-functional testing • Experience in object oriented testing, white and black box testing with relevant knowledge of testing frameworks (desirable) • Ability to provide estimations for testing engagements • Familiar with usage of systems for traceability, test management, defect management - e.g. Quality Center, TFS, Bugzilla, etc • Working knowledge in automation and performance testing tools (QTP, Load runner, VSTS) • Understanding of KPIs and metrics with the ability to analyze, make the appropriate inferences and take corrective/preventive measures • Good analytical and communication skills and experience of coordinating testing across different work streams • Good project management skills Job Description • Build & lead a team of 15-20 front end & backend QA Engineers & 2-3 QA Leads • Drive Testability Requirements and Process Changes as necessary to achieve quality goals • Interact with Engineering and Product teams to review specifications and develop comprehensive test plans • Identify test strategy, define test plans and execute tests to validate new features • Define & drive process for reporting defects and follow-through as necessary to complete the testing cycle • Provide timely status updates and assist the team in making decisions about release readiness • Collaborate with and gain approval from QA Engineers, Project Managers, Software Developers, DBAs, and Operations staff as required in a dynamic, demanding environment • Understand and analyze requirements and identify gaps from a testing perspective • Preparation/review of Test scenarios/cases/data - functional, non-functional and system testing • Estimate and plan for lifecycle activities • Allocate and monitor tasks to assigned team members • Ensure effectiveness and productivity of assigned test team through appropriate reviews/validation/audit • Monitor defects and work with development/implementation teams in training and closure/resolution • Prepare status reports as required for internal and external stakeholders including senior management • Support best practices implementation and process improvements • Ensure performance of self and team as per governing metrics working with the Delivery and Competency management team Salary Best in the industry Location Bangalore If you are interested kindly share your profile along with the following details. 1.
