Hi!

Its wonderful to see that Bangalore had such active aMeeGos. Hope that despite the recent inactivity of the group, the support that MeeGo enjoyed still remains.

I'm Varun, a design student from NID. Im currently involved with CKS Bangalore on a MeeGo project for Intel. They are looking to study the market in India and some other countries. For this I need to talk with some current users, ex users and potential users of MeeGo. It would be fantastic if some of you could get in touch with me for this.

Hi Varun,

Welcome to the group. I have met few folks in couple of conferences and to my surprise, they were interested in using MeeGo as a platform for their mobile solutions. So surely, there is some support

I was involved with MeeGo platform since its inception (since 5 years) and am currently using a MeeGo device. You can get in touch with me.

Thanks for the reply! I wonder what kind of devices were the people you mentioned planning - netbooks or handhelds? I believe Intel is contmeplating giving MeeGo for netbooks a little push. This study focuses on netbooks(or laptops) . They are looking to gather information from professionals and students

May I know what device you use MeeGo on? For this project I have to get info from the users regarding their experience with the OS - what they like, what's missing,etc. It would be great if I could meet you sometime next week, at your convenience. Also it would be great if you can put me in touch with anybody else who use or have used MeeGo on their netbooks/laptops.

Also it would be great if any of the other MeeGo users in the group could respond too! Finding MeeGo users outside of the online community, as I have been trying , might be a very difficult task.
