Hey Meedan Translations,
This will be a really fascinating event if you're in Cairo - Marcia Lynx Qualey is the lady behind the marvellous Arabic Literature in English blog (http://ArabLit.wordpress.com) where there are consistently excellent posts about translated literature, and lots of great discussion about translation.
I've never met Marcia, but she has also given Meedan plenty of shout outs over the years (here, here, here and here are just a few!) and it'd be great to have some Meedanis attend her talk and say hi. The event is FREE and open to the general public - you just need to present your photo ID to enter.
Enjoy!
