We are proud to announce you that SyriaUntold is finally launching the project “Cities in Revolution”, funded by the European Union and Canal France International. The project aims to investigate the history of the Syrian uprising in six different cities: al-Salamiya, al-Qamishli, Deir Azzor, Banyas, Daraa, and al-Zabadani.

Each city file includes an in-depth research article, a short documentary film directed by well-known Syrian video-makers, info-graphics, pictures and witnesses. Also, you will find for each city some radio broadcast episodes we produced in collaboration with Syrian radios. All the content is available both in Arabic and in English.

The first city we covered is al-Salamiya, and the others will follow during the next few months. We will keep you updated.

We hope you will enjoy this initiative and any feedback is highly welcomed!

يسر "حكاية ما انحكت Syriauntold" أن يضع بين أيديكم مشروع "مدن في الثورة السورية"، وهو مشروع بحثي، يركز في مرحلته الأولى على توثيق أحداث الثورة السورية في ست مدن سورية هي (السلمية، القامشلي، دير الزور، بانياس، درعا، الزبداني) بالاعتماد على رواية الأحداث من فم الشهود والفاعلين الاجتماعيين الذين قاموا بالثورة في تلك المدن، حيث شملت الإنتاجات عن كل مدينة: بحثا وفيلما وأنفوغرافيك وحلقات إذاعية وصورا وشهادات، لنضعها بين أيديكم.
