Hi Ed and Anas,
We just launched our first human translation study for the predictive translation memory project. We're analyzing Arabic, French, and German. We have recruited freelance translators from odesk.com. However, it has been difficult to find competent English-Arabic translators. I am wondering if some of your translators would like to make some extra money? They will earn about $50 for 1.5 hours of work.

Interested translators will need to create a free account on odesk.com and take five (~10-15min) multiple choice tests. Then we'll hire and pay them through odesk.

Once they create an account, they will need to take the following odesk tests:

 *English spelling test (U.S. version)
 *English vocabulary test (U.S. version)
 *U.S. English Basic Skills test
 *U.S. Word Usage Test
*English to Arabic Translation Skills Test

Then they should apply to our job posting:

 https://www.odesk.com/jobs/~~df57e889cd208698

Could you please forward this request to your translation staff? We would like to complete the data collection phase by the end of next week. I'll be happy to answer any additional questions.

Thanks!

Spence

Hello everyone,

We still need 3 Arabic translators to participate in this. It would be great if you can take part or forward this to someone you know.

Best,
Anas
