AMEE 2016 Barcelona – 27th – 31st August 2016
The AMEE Annual Conference is now the leading international meeting in medical education, attracting about 3,500 participants on site and others participating online. Innovating in Education is the theme for AMEE 2016. The preliminary programme will be available in December on the AMEE website www.amee.org. Some dates for your diary:
12th January 2016: Last date to submit Research Papers & PhD reports
15 February 2016: Last date to submit Short Communications, Posters, Conference Workshops and Fringe abstracts
17 May 2016: Close of earlybird registration
27 – 28 August 2016: Preconference programme
28 – 31 August 2016: Main conference programme
12 January: Submissions: Research papers and PhD report abstracts
31 January: Close of nominations for Miriam Friedman Ben-David New Educator Award
15 February: Submissions: Short communications, conference workshops, poster, eposter and AMEE fringe abstracts; Last date to apply for free registration
Mid April: Acknowledgement of accepted abstracts
30 April: Acknowledgment of free registration awards; Notification to Miriam Friedman Ben-David New Educator Award winner
17 May: End of early registration
31 May: Last date to book accommodation in order to guarantee availability
01 June: Deadline for registration by presenters to ensureabstract included in the programme
31 July: Last date to book exhibition space; Last date to book tours/social events
15 August: Last date to register online for AMEE 2016
