to The Medical Manager Users
Harmony Healthcare IT will host a Medical Manager user meeting at the
Embassy Suites in East Peoria, IL on June 15, 2010 from 9am-4pm.

The session is intended for practice administrators pulled in a
million different directions and expected to get more done with less
-- all in a climate of government-driven health IT change.

There are sessions for current users of Medical Manager, those
transitioning off the system to a new EMR and one for former users of
the software.

Attendees will walk away with actions plans to cut costs, drive
revenue, reduce risk and achieve 'meaningful use' of electronic
health
records.

I am confused. Can you briefly explain how this is not just a sales meeting for your EMR products?

Is Sage sponsoring this? Will there be any representatives there who can actually support Medical Manager with sourcecode modifications?
Any benefit for people who actually want to keep using the software?

The objective of the seminar is to give current users of The Medical Manager Software information on how they can protect their investment in the system by keeping it as their billing engine while interfacing it with an EHR Solution to meet the Meaningful Use Requirements and obtain their ARRA Funds and to review options for former users of The Medical Manager Software that don’t want to try and maintain their old equipment for the next 7-10 years etc.

Harmony Healthcare IT is sponsoring the seminar and we have no affiliation with Sage. Harmony currently supports hundreds of providers using The Medical Manager Software in their day to day technical support needs as well as modifications and enhancements to their systems.

In summary – the purpose of the seminar is to provide users of The Medical Manager information on how to protect their investment and continue to use Medical Manager as long as it can meet their practices needs.

Looks interesting, however can you tell us what EHR Solution you are referring to and whether or not Harmony sells an EHR Solution that just might be demonstrated at the meeting?

We will demonstrate one or more possible solutions that can be interfaced with Medical Manager but we will work with a practice with any EHR solution that they want to use that has the capabilities.

Will any other vendors, offering similar services, be allowed to
present their competitive advantages over yours? Again, the concern
here is that you are presenting a "sales seminar" in such a way as to
sound like a vendor neutral "conference". It does not help that you
continue to dodge the core issue.
