Is anyone out there using Medispan to populate their RXM drug fields? We are running into a problem where the "Retail" drug's generics are not loading from the Medispan disc and Meditech is starting to say there is nothing they can do at this point. Something about a KDC link....

I just wondering if this has been a problem for you and what you did about it? As previously mentioned, Meditech says their code for bringing in FSV information has not changed in 5.64 C/S.

Thanks
Rick

While we are Magic, there may be some similarities in the issues we've dealt with since our LSS/RXM implementation:
1) initially, Meditech did not enter the RXM database into the PHA toolbox parameters.
2) we identified an issue where not all RXM drug entries indexed properly - required a programming loop to reindex the entries
3) there are 8 new RXM knowledge base articles since 12/12/10
4) there is a Drug Dictionary clean-up KB article for Magic - Medispan sites, have you checked to see if a similar process is available, but not written up yet for C/S?
5) when pulling the entries into RXM, are you certain the query to pull all drugs got answered correctly?

Don't explain. Your friends know already and your enemies don't care.

Thanks
