This is almost always because you have the printer set to FARGO or Generic in the UNV and have a Datamax driver on the print server. If this is your situation, change the PC printer server driver to GENERIC/TEXT.

Hi

This can also happen if you are printing in a 90 degree
counterclockwise rotation and the text runs off the top of the label.
An example of this would be

"4911A1001250020"_"This text is far too long to print in the
space provided and will cause extra labels to print"

This may not be your problem but it is something to be aware of.

Hope this Helps
Ken

We are a C/S location. In the LIS shared dictionaries "Label Format"
Bring up one of you labels
(We use the Fargo barcode printer)
In the bottom half of the page there is a field "PRINT BLANK LABEL BETWEEN PATEINTS" Select "N"

What Libby suggests is in both C/S and Magic Lab Label Format Dictionaries. If the below doesn't work and you are infact C/S check your settings on the Windows Print Driver (assuming you are not socket printing).

If you are utilizing the Datamax (Segual) driver on your print servers (which I recommend) there are 2 places where the label stock must be defined. The default is 4 x 4 which results in the "Bonus" labels you refer to.

Under the General Tab click on "Printing Prefences" ... This will bring up another window where you will find the "Page Setup" tab. Under the "Stock" section correct the size of the label. Apply those changes and then look under the Advanced Tab for the "Printing Defaults" where you will make the exact same changes all over again.

Let me know if you need any further help!
