Kevin,
At my former clients, we would remove the MTECH2000 or MTECH2007 Microsoft Word Macro or Template from the Meditech Programs File. Unfortunately, I can’t give you an exact location of where to find it as I am not at a CS 5.6 site. The path will begin with C:\program files\MEDITECH\. In 6.0, it is in a folder MSWord. The next time MT goes to open the file, it will bring a clean one down from the server.
Hopefully, that is helpful.
Sincerely,
Kevin

Good afternoon L’ers,
We are running MT 6.05, PP14, and are having a horrendous time with slowness on the PHA, LAB and ITS applications on one of our servers. Over the past 4 months (ever since we went LIVE with PP14 and a new ANP Service), it seems to only happen during the last half of the month, and later in the evening and night. When we toggle the ANP Service on that service, the slowness goes away, and things run normally. The Pharmacy seems to notice it first, as the orders they are working on slow to a crawl, and the LAB analyzers seem to become out of sync with the slower application. Meditech claims the ANP Service has nothing to do with it, but at their request, our server CPU and memory stats, along with network traces, have all shown there is no problem in the infrastructure. VMotion, anti-virus, VMWare, VMView, etc have all been looked at but to no avail.
Can anybody comment or share similar experiences on their 6.x platform?
Thanks!!
Tony
