Wanted to thank Jason Williams for his suggestions that led to our resolution. We have the print job from Meditech (via Citrix) printing thru the client. We also had to install the Meditech Document Manager service on the client for the printing to work.
Thanks to all!
Thanks

Ryan,
I dealt with a similar issue with armband printing using a generic driver through Citrix. If I remember correctly we had to install the printer on the local PC and give it the same name as the printer on the printserver. Printing would print using the local machines label printer. We never received a solution from either Meditech or Citrix. I hope this helps.
Thanks,
Jason

Ryan,
What kind of driver does the EMBOSS printer use?
Thanks,
Jason

HI Jason – yes the VMAGICPPII is running as a service. I am patiently waiting to hear back from Meditech. If do get a resolution, I will post. Thanks for the suggestion.

Ryan,
Did you setup the VMAGICPPII.exe to run as a service on the citrix or RDP server?
Thanks,
Jason Williams
We are testing Meditech C/S 5.65 via Citrix XenApp and having some issues on the printing side. We are having an issue in the ADM module when we try to print using the EMBOSS field in the Print Admissions Form. When we use
that option, it is doing a look up of the UNV printers set up as "DC" printers. For some reason we cannot get this work via Citrix or RDP. If we log right on to the application server and install the EMBOSS printer
right on the server, when we launch MT and try to print a job to the EMBOSS field it works. If we try Meditech via RDP or CITRIX it does not recognize that printer that is on the server and just defaults to the app servers "Default" printer.
Just wondering if anyone else was able to get this piece working?
Thanks
