The format of the voucher and Check (with signature) are created in the FormFast designer and setup on the FormFast server to merge it with the "printed" data from Meditech.
To print the checks,
1. You print from Meditech to a FormFast virtual printer that creates a file on the FormFast server.
2. The Server then merges the printed data with the Form Previously created and sends it to your printer of choice.

Subject: [MT-L] AP Checks--Using ELF Chips vs no ELF Chips
Good afternoon L,
We're a CS 5.54 facility.
We're looking at different ways to print our checks from AP with electronic signatures. I've heard some facilities use an ELF Chip and some facilities don't. I know some facilities use FormFast to print checks without having to use an ELF chip but other facilities do.
What's the difference? How do both processes work (with and without)?
Our main goal is to be able to print checks with electronic signatures instead of having our CFO or CEO manually sign checks.
I'm clueless about this process so any comments/answers help.
Thank you!
