Hi Charlene,
We use Active Directory coupled with Imprivata’s One-Sign. Utilizing a few scheduled NPR reports (6 per facility) written in PP.PER with fragments in MIS.USER we update the Active Directory databases nightly to keep management reasonable( <0.5 FTE ). We have had this running for just a tic over three years now. You can contact Adam Witt adam...@hpha.ca @ (519) 272-8210 ext 2250 if you would like the NPR reports and details on how the whole thing is structured. We are Magic 5.67. The reports will need to be reworked just a smidge for C/S.
Gord
I am interested in this information as well if anyone would like to share. We are C/S 5.67 pp3.

We do not allow employees to reset their own password.
If an employee needs to have the password reset, their manager needs to contact the IT department and request the
reset.
On off shifts, weekends and Holidays the employee needs to contact the Nursing Supervisor, who then contacts IT.
If a physician needs a reset, the staff person in the Medical Staff Lounge notifies us, but again if off hours the physician
needs to contact the Nursing Supervisor

We implemented self password management using a product called mypassword. (you can reset your password by answering your filed questions)
Keep in mind that this manages passwords through active directory which our Meditech uses.
