Hello

After filing a MIS.DOC report and attempting to run it to save the output I select DOWNLOAD on the print window. Then I get the normal window of "Downloading...." for 30 or more minutes and after this I get a Bad Write 133 Disk Error window.

Anyone have experience with this issue? Thank you!

Hi Pat,

I have had a similar error before in Meditech Magic when trying to download to a filename that I was overwriting but there was a lock on the file so it couldn't be written over.

Could that be the cause of your dilemma?

Thanks,
Steve

It could be that you (or another user if it’s on a shared drive) has the file open or it could be that you don’t have access to save to the drive you are trying to which you are downloading the file.  Try saving it to your desktop or documents.

Thanks,
Rob

Yes, I have hit this a few times as well.

It can happen if you have a report trying to save to a file, and you have that file open in some other application.

Here's what it did to me.  First I was creating a new file and it popped up an alarm that said "That file does not exist - do you want me to create it?" If I say 'no' it just shuts down the process.  So I am forced to say 'yes'.  Then after a very long wait it says, "Hey this file is open, I can't write it to the disk"  Totally catch 22!
