[MT-L] Magic 5.64 Lab Instrument Manager/Vitros 5600 interface question on NTPBNP upload/download codes

Anyone else using, or attempting to use the Meditech-Data Innovations Instrument Manager interface and having the NTProBNP test working through the interface? The recommended PLAS,NTPBNP mnemonic is one character longer than the upload/download code fields in the Analyzer Type Dictionary. We tried creating a new entry in the Instrument Manager configuration file shortening the mnemonic to PLAS,BNP and get the order to flow to our Vitros 5600 analyzer, where it performs the test, but an instrument trace shows Instrument Manager still sending NTPBNP as the mnemonic, which is a mismatch with the plasma code because of the length (PLAS,NTPBNP). As usual, Data Innovations is pointing fingers at OrthoClinical Diagnostics, but I think it's something that needs changing within Instrument Manager.
Has anyone gotten a custom expanding the upload/download code fields in the Analyzer Type Dictionary?

Any assistance will be appreciated.

We don't have the analyzer(s) anymore, but I also remember Meditech instrument support resolving a similar issue for us. The upload/download code from the instrument was longer than the allowed field in MT.
