[MT-L] 6.0 hot keys or function keys? do they exist?

I work at a facility that is currently undergoing a migration from Magic
to 6.0

I have searched the Meditech website for a "cheat sheet" on the hot keys
and haven't found anything.

I have come to this forum to see if anyone can be of assistance.

I can't speak directly to 6.0, but from CS 5.6 experience, all hot keys are gone.
The resolution for the hot keys is MIS User Profiles. If 1 person has something special, then it's a one-off profile.. this is how you need to address HIPAA Roles & Responsibilities in the newer Meditech versions.

Some of the Function keys still work, but they may not work as expected...
For example, F12 still files, most places. Otherwise you have to click OK.... with a mouse.

F11 no longer is an Exit, it invokes the EMR... still, after two years, my fingers have problems with this one :) (not helped by the fact that I continue to work in both CS 5.64 and Magic 5.5).

Shift F8 isn't documentation lookup, you use F1 for this. And if you're in a View routine, documentation behaves differently than if you're in an Edit routine. F9 will still generally do a field lookup, or you take your mouse and click on a down arrow... ;) look up with a down arrow ...

They don't exist for 6.0. We have found that using the tab, space and enter
keys can help navigate using the keyboard, but it is largely mouse driven.
Apparently keyboard shortcuts will be fully exploited in 6.1.

The F8 key does work in 6.0 as you mentioned in some routines such as
those from the Pharmacist's Desktop.

We are a 6.0 site and have discovered that some modules do have the hot keys and some don't. The ones that do not have the hot keys are the modules that are on the 'focus' platform, all the NPR modules can still utilize the hot keys.
