Hello All:

        I am looking for information on auto verification with using the medication calculation.   I found some old emails out there on Meditech-L that say this will work as long as it is in the channel name.

        I did get Meditech to calculate however it did not verify the calculation portion of the test even though in my analyzer type dictionary the Verify field was set to Y.

        Has anyone been able to utilize the Meditech calculations for auto verification and have the result go to COMP, if so any help would be appreciated.

Hi Judy,
You will need to add a _"\FV" command to the last line of your calculations to file and verify it.

The F(file) may not be necessary if you have autofile set to Y in the Analyze Type dictionary.

For example, the last line in the anion gap calculation may be something like this:

NA-(CL+CO2)};

After adding the command it would look like this:

NA-(CL+CO2)_"\V"};

Hi
Add _"\V"; to the end of the calculation.
That should work for you.

Each "T" test involved in calculation has to be defined in the analyzer type dictionary, along with the actual test where the calculation result will reside.
For example,
For Bun/Creatinine ratio, must define BUN, CREA and the B-C test as channels.
