Is anyone using the fragment functionality in the OE Report
dictionary? If so, what is the setup for the NPR fragment? I realize
that the fragment has to be built in OE.RES, but I am obviously not
attaching the correct segment and/or select prompts to it. Meditech's
KB article that describes this functionality does not describe the
setup for the fragment. I thought I would get a quick answer from
Meditech about this, but I am getting the standard "current turn
around time for issues on our worklist is currently 39 days" response
from them. I am hoping that someone on the L could help me with this
before the 39 days was up!

Thanks in advance,

Hi Jay,

I played with this once for some reason.

Report DPM OE.RES Report Name zcus.test.header
Report Title TEST YOU HEADER
Active Y Last Edit By CHAHD Date 11/15/07 Time 0808

Detail DPM OE.RES Detail Segment oe.report
Index DPM Index File

Page 2

Report Name OE.RES.zcus.test.header

Sort Field Order Header Trailer Renumber Pages
1 urn ASC NONE N
2 section ASC NONE N
3 frag.line ASC NONE N
4
5

Select Field/Prompt or Value Oper/Default or Keyword
1 urn EQ
/urn

On page three you can use any OE.RES fields

I pulled in a couple of frags to test it one from NUR for home meds:

LC=@patient^/PATIENT,
LC=%Z.rw.fragment("NUR.PC.WORK.zcus.hdc.hmedsq.f.R","NUR.ANV"),""

another from PHA for active PHA meds:

LC=@patient^/PATIENT,
LC=%Z.rw.fragment("PHA.RX.zcus.dc.pt.meds.f.R","PHA.ANV"),""

On page two of your OE (Departmental) report dictionary you can attach the Fragment to the
Header or footer by designating the Header or Footer as a Type of Frag and then you will have
a lookup into the OE.RES reports to pull in the frag you want.

Good Luck and have fun,

Howard
