Dear all,

Nice to meet you all. I'm a newbie in meditation.

Recently, i found that with the proper music, we can be in a much more
relaxed state. This is exceptionally helpful in meditation. So, i start
to listen to many alpha music.

Understanding that alpha music has frequency range of between 8-14Hz.
What i do is normally i borrow from my friends some alpha music CD and
copy them to a new CD. Apart from that, i also download some alpha
musics and burn them into CD.

My question is does the alpha's effect still exist if i copy to a new
CD?
I heard that only using the proper audio mastering and manufacturing,
the alpha's effect will work.

Please help to answer.

Also, any recommendations on good alpha music?

Thanks.

Cheers,
Albert

Dear Albert,

We are here confusing between meditation and alignment of senses for
particular thing (music in ur case). These things can be helpful in
concentrating ones mind but this activity may not be termed meditation
per se. Concentrating the mind/senses is a starting of achieving
Medition. In that sense, concentrating ones mind can be said to be 1st
stage of medition...

Medition is a path that can liberate u and u can achieve true wisdom,
become indifferent to the happenings of the world..

Answering ur question, the effect of concentration thru music cd will
remain intact even if u copy it.. :)

Regards,
Ashu :)
