Hi,
The documentation of SNR calls out that it lacks IPv6 support currently, is there ongoing work to fill in this gap? would like to know if there's any tentative plan for this.

Amazing work building these components btw!

Thanks,
Vijay

Hi Vijay,

Thanks for taking interest in medik8s !
Can you please elaborate a bit more on the use-case you are trying to solve and as to how IPv6 support is part of it ?

Michael

Hi Vijay,

At the moment we haven't done any testing with IPv6 so we don't officially support it.
However this does not necessarily mean that it will not work.

For now we haven't got any other requests to support IPv6 so it's not part of our current roadmap (even though this may change).
I suggest that you test on your Ipv6 cluster, we'll be happy to support any question you may have during testing or repo contribution.

Hi Michael,
Thanks for your quick response, was trying to see if this can be used in IPv6 only K8s(upstream) cluster.

Thanks,
Vijay
