What is WINFOCUS?

The World Interactive Network Focused On Critical UltraSound (WINFOCUS) is the world leader scientific network committed to developing Point-of-Care Ultrasound practice (POCUS), research, education, technology, and networking, addressing the needs of patients, institutions, services, and communities living in out-of-hospital and in-hospital critical scenarios. WINFOCUS Academy courses are based on the most recent evidence on Point of Care Ultrasound (PoCUS) practice and education and on the experience of teaching PoCUS courses on 100s of occasions in more than 50 countries around the globe in the past 15 years. 

 

What is in it for me?

This blended FoCUS (Focused cardiac Ultrasound) course aims to provide all healthcare professionals with tools for point-of-care image acquisition and interpretation and teaches how to use limited Transthoracic Echocardiography in the setting of cardiac arrest/peri-resuscitation and as a screening tool for the unstable patients in the ICU/CCU/emergency settings or cardiac floors.

 

Who we are?

Kaul Associates Skills Lab is the collaborating partner of WINFOCUS in Pakistan and regularly holds FoCUS Echocardiography Provider (WBE P) courses. The provider course (WBE-P) is mandatory to prepare for WINFOCUS International Certification. This international certification provision for doctors in Pakistan will be available from January 1st, 2025.
