Global traumatic brain injury research and prevention initiative
“Global traumatic brain injury research and prevention initiative” is aimed for international collaboration to better understand the characteristics of traumatic brain injuries across the continents and cultures. As a part of the initiative uniform study protocols, data templates and data collection options will be developed which will be freely available and universally accessible. Interested participants are invited to provide their valuable feedback to develop the protocols, possible participation in the upcoming studies, participation in the development of study specific templates (ranging from basic to advanced data collection options), development of suitable biostatistical designs and for co-ordination of data analysis and data interpretation. The data modules can be customized as per the need of the centers i.e. their capacity to recruit patients and handle data collection (availability of manpower and burden of traumatic brain injury). Based on available international literature demo forms have been proposed (demo purpose only).
