Compiled Templates dir in localsetting.php points to extensions/Widget/compiled_templates

I created a templates_c folder in the wiki root (/web/paragonwiki/)

Both should have plenty permissions.

I would be very grateful is someone could help me with this.

I also had the issue once that the "$wgWidgetsCompileDir" parameter was ignored no matter which directory I set to it. This was a MW 1.25.2 so there may be an issue with versions higher than MW 1.24. I am still on MW 1.23. I had to create the directory in webroot, too. However granting the permissions and assigning the web server as user and group for the directory fixed it for me. So doing chown www-data:www-data for the folder could be the missing action still to do. Apart from that I have no clue.
