Hi I have installed the Google Calendar widget on my site running Media Wiki 1.27.1 and Apache/2.4.18 (Red Hat) PHP/5.5.21 with the latest version of your plugin using the git install instructions.

But whenever I try to save a new page that uses that widget (or any widget, I've tried the youtube one as well) I get an http 500 error and this message in the logs:

[Wed Jan 04 11:10:27.569857 2017] [:error] [pid 21033] [client 10.0.2.180:52037] PHP Fatal error:  Call to protected method Article::getContentObject() from context 'WidgetRenderer' in /opt/rh/httpd24/root/var/www/mediawiki-1.27.1/extensions/Widgets/WidgetRenderer.php on line 176, referer: http://wiki.mypage.com/index.php?title=On_Call_Duties&action=submit

This seems like a software bug and not a configuration issue, is there some incompatibility between these versions?

I'm seeing this same type of error, but with MediaWiki 1.26.2 on RHEL6.6.  The common part is the call to the getContentObject causing a warning.  In my case, it's:

[Wed Feb 08 13:22:07 2017] [error] [client 10.89.9.100] PHP Fatal error:  Inaccessible function via __call(): getContentObject in /var/www/mw/includes/page/Article.php on line 2051,

Has anyone else seen this issue?
