Choosing which photos to transfer across

I have set aside a folder on my website where I have managed to send
all the photos in my camera roll and then can upload via filezilla to
PC, this effrectively gives me back up file of my photos on line for
use when away from home.

The transfer is fast and seamless, great.

But, the only photos transferred are from the 'camera roll' album on
the Ipad.

Is there any way I can choose which photos to transfer

1) from within the folder
2) from other folders
