Hi,

I'm trying to install the new version (on a clean server) and everything seems to be running fine using manage.py runserver, but when I try to switch to Apache I'm getting 404 on some files. For instance, when loading /admin/courseaffils/course/add/ I get the following errors in the console:

Requesting the same files with :8000 when the manage.py server is running works correctly.

I'm just running the django.wsgi file that's in /apache (with appropriate path changes). I assume there's a setting I'm missing somewhere but I don't know where it would be...any suggestions?

Thanks,

- John

Never mind, got it. httpd.conf was missing...quite a bit. It looks like you used to have a sample .conf file in your apache directory that's not there now, so I used the one from my previous install and it worked fine. Since your instructions still reference the missing apache/prod.conf file you may want to put it back. :)

Thanks,

- John

Thanks for the heads up John. And sorry for your troubles. We switched to Salt for our server management, so the individual confs were removed. I will definitely add back the sample.conf.

Best,
Susan

Hi Susan,

I'm also looking for the apache/prod.conf   file;  will you let folks know when it's been pushed out?

thanks

Hello -

I've readded the apache conf file to the Git source tree. You can find it here: https://github.com/ccnmtl/mediathread/tree/master/apache

Sorry for the omission!

Best,
Susan

No worries,  I was working with my old one from a couple of years ago.
