The United States formally recognized the rebel leadership in Libya as the country’s legitimate government on Friday, allowing the rebel government access to $30 billion in Libyan assets held in the United States. It is not yet clear how and when the money would be released.

July 13th attack on Mumbai - Cycle of terror continues

Three near-simultaneous explosions rocked Mumbai at rush-hour on Wednesday, 13th July 2011, killing at least 17 people and injuring 141 in another terrorist strike in the city. One blast hit the crowded neighborhood of Dadar in central Mumbai.
