Low FPS PiCamera

Hi, I'm using Raspberry PI 4B and im trying to build some project with handtracking. Problem is when I run my Code with mediapipe i got not more than 5 FPS on my PiCamera. How can i boost it or fix it? Is this problem in mediapipe or something else.

Maybe you should reduce the resolution of the frames captured by the camera?
