retrieving file by original name

Hi

is there a ‘standard’ way (that e.g. the shopping cart will honour) to
download files with their original name ?

The oinly ways I know how to this are

1. put in a container (but this would add a huge overhead to my upload process
for files that don’t compress)

2. save the name in meta-data and use a bespoke client to download

Hoping someonein the group can answer this

I am doing 2) at the moment. I’d really like to be able to
upload a file, an dthen download it via the shopping cart,
and preserve its name.
