iOS 8 - plugin not streaming

I use the player on my self-hosted WordPress site via the Blubrry PowerPress plugin. Recently (last week of August) it has become impossible to stream mp3 and m4a files from my website. Downloading works, streaming doesn't on both iPhone and iPad running 8.4.1. Streaming from Mac and PC  browsers (Safari, Firefox, Chrome etc.) works fine. Any ideas?
